About LinkedIn outages
LinkedIn's outages tend to be partial and to affect one surface: The feed loads but messaging will not send, job search returns nothing, or notifications stop updating. A full site outage is rare.
The components worth separating are the feed, messaging, job search and applications, Recruiter and Sales Navigator (paid products with their own infrastructure), and the API used by applicant tracking systems. Job application failures are the most consequential, since an application submitted during an incident may not reach the employer at all. LinkedIn also applies aggressive rate limiting to logged-out browsing and to accounts doing heavy searching, which produces an "unable to load" state that looks like an outage but is a throttle. Although LinkedIn is owned by Microsoft, it is not covered by the Microsoft 365 status page and publishes no public status page of its own.
