Most reported problems right now
Ranked by the number of problem reports visitors have filed here in the last six hours. This is a crowd signal and nothing more: It moves before our checks do, and it is wrong more often. Read it alongside the status beside each name.
No reports in the last six hours
Quiet. When something breaks, this is where it shows up first - Usually several minutes before an official status page moves. See what our own checks found.
How to read a report spike
This page is the crowd signal, and it is the fastest thing on this site. Reports usually rise several minutes before an automated check confirms anything, because people notice a broken login or an empty feed long before a server stops answering a request.
It is also the least reliable thing on this site, and those two facts are the same fact. Speed comes from having no verification step.
What makes a spike meaningful
- Steepness beats volume. A large service collects reports at all hours simply because more people use it. What matters is the jump against its own normal rate, which is what the baseline column shows.
- Agreement on the problem. Fifty reports all saying “cannot log in” is a signal. Fifty reports spread evenly across every problem type is usually noise.
- Confirmation from a second source. A spike that our automated checks also see is an outage. A spike they do not see is often a regional or feature-level failure they cannot see.
Why reports never change the uptime figure
A crowd can be wrong, and a crowd can be organised. If reports could move a published uptime number, that number would be worth gaming, so on this site they cannot. Reports appear alongside the measurement and never inside it. The methodology explains the separation, and it is enforced by a test rather than a promise.
What to do with a spike you can see
Check the service from an independent network before concluding anything. Our on-demand checker runs from our servers rather than yours, which settles the common case in one step: If it answers for us and not for you, the fault is between you and it.
