About Valorant outages
Valorant shares Riot's account platform with League of Legends, so sign-in problems hit both games at once, but its match servers are separate and regional. The game's anti-cheat, Vanguard, adds a failure surface that no other major shooter has: It is a kernel-level driver loaded at boot, and when it fails the game will not start at all.
